HIMSS 2025 - General Session: A1 | Audio Engineer

Mar 2025 | The Venetian, Las Vegas, NV

​

• The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) event was the largest General Session i've operated as an A1 to date, with close to 6,000 people in attendance.

• I used EAW’s Anna Audio System, allowing me to create tailored ‘full room’ and ‘half room’ coverage designs with custom tuning presets. The system's real-time adjustments through EAW’s 'Resolution' program ensured seamless execution without the need for physical reconfigurations during set changes. 

• The event was a success and the client gave a big shout out to everyone involved including the production staff and crew.

PPAI 2025 - General Session: A1 | Audio Engineer

Jan 2025 | Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, NV

• A1 for the PPAI 2025 General Session, the promotional product industry's largest and longest-running trade show.

• Sound was dB Technologies T8's LCR mono arrays.

• A gameshow called "The Pitch" was fused into the production which was a fun twist for the audience. A lot of complex playback and stinger sound effect cues were necessary to capture that true game show feel.

• Turnout and end results were amazing, client was ecstatic.

New Year’s Eve 2023: “Illusions” VIP Party – FOH Audio Engineer

Dec 2023 | Aria Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, NV

• Mixed Front of House audio for a VIP event hosted by Kevin Hart, featuring The Red Hot Band, an ensemble of 10 musicians, 8 vocalists, and over 30 dancers and performers.

• Managed over 60 input channels, including live lead vocal and instrument solo cues for a 3-hour, 45-minute continuous performance of 60 songs.

• Together we delivered a high-impact live sound experience for everyone in attendance.

Leadership in Counter Terrorism (LinCT) General Session – A1 | Audio Engineer

May 2023 | Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV

​

• A1 for the high-profile Leadership in Counter Terrorism (LinCT) event, bringing together law enforcement and intelligence practitioners across five countries to discuss how to combat counter-terrorism threats.

• Keynote and guest speakers included the Director of the FBI to US Representatives and Navy Seals, members of the Department of Homeland Security, police chiefs from many major cities including NYPD and LVMP as well as Dana White from the UFC.

• Designed and deployed an L-Acoustics Kara Line-Array System using SoundVision for system planning and design and LA Network Manager for amplifier networking/management and filter deployment.

• Supported the A2 by assisting in the setup of the FreeSpeak Wireless Intercom system with 2 wire comms tied in.

• Recorded RF traces using a Spectrum Analyzer. Created and managed a frequency coordination using SoundBase and monitored microphones in my General Session with Wireless Workbench.

• Executed many playback, graphics, and walk on audio cues for multiple presenters, receiving an outstanding client evaluation.
